Why You Should Watch the "The Life and Times of Tim"
Why should you watch the funniest show on television? Well, that's just my opinion. The Life and Times of Tim is a show that revolves around a very normal character, Tim. His dialogue mainly consists of funny, awkward side comments. A lot of my friends actually think that he is similar to me, except I am a lot more outgoing. I should mention that the show is actually a cartoon with awful animation. This actually adds to the charm of the show. This is no Family Guy or the Simpsons, the humor in this show is extremely dry and focuses more on character interaction rather than over-the-top satire.
Tim lives with his girlfriend Amy. She is always dissappointed in him because he is always screwing up and her friend's boyfriends seem to be going farther with their lives. His best friend Stu is a simple man who loves The Giants, weed, and free food. His other friend is Rodney, a hockey fanatic with a strong long island accent. Then comes the Boss who is known as "The Boss." The interactions between Tim and the Boss may be some of the best comedy I've seen in years. He commonly refers to Tim as a "bottom feeder" or having a "terrible name." Then comes my favorite character, the priest. The priest describes himself as "uncoventional," giving communion with shots of jager. He also has a girlfriend, which is definitely not permitted in the priesthood. He's such an original character, which makes him one of the best. For Halloween, I am actually dressing up as the Priest. I could go on forever about the show, but it's better if you just watch it yourselves. Here's a clip to get you started:
